LONGHORN LEAN BEEF STEW

Ingredients
1 lb. Longhorn lean hamburger
1 sm. onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1-1/2 c. cubed potatoes with skin
1-1/2 sliced carrots
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. chicken broth
1 (28-oz.) can diced tomatoes or tomato sauce
1/4 c. Kikkoman soy sauce
1 T. chill powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Saute the onions, add the beef and brown. Season the meat; add the soy sauce and garlic. Add the liquids and vegetables; simmer on medium-low heat until the vegetables are tender or about an hour. You can double and triple this recipe to serve hungry cowboys. Add some sourdough cheese bread, and you have a hearty meal. It's even better the next day!
